The end is near

I recently drove from Jacksonville, FLA to Chicago, IL. Driving straight thru, and pulling a trailer loaded with furniture, it took me about 21 hours w/ a brief catnap just outside of Atlanta.

Now what is important to know here is that I gave up listening to Talk Radio at the beginning of the year.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE listening to Talk Radio, I just got real tired of listening to what terrible shape the world is in because of the economy, global warming, the Democrats, the Republicans, politics in general & how we’re all gonna die anyway because the Mayan Calendar says the world is gonna end in 2012.

Now i’ve been pretty good about staying away from all that mess because all it does is piss you off & make you that much madder because there isn’t anything you can do to change the way things are anyway.

I must confess that I have been suffering a fair amount of withdrawal here lately because there’s just been so much dumb stuff going on that I was dying to get the 411. So, with 20 plus hours & over 1100 miles to kill I broke down, gave in & had a little listen.

Okay, okay, I did a lot of listening & here is my trip in a nutshell-
I started out with Coast2Coast AM. Just as I lost reception I found Bill Bennett, & followed him up w/ Neil Boortz. Rush was next & then came Hannity sounding as shrill as ever. Fred Thompson came next but it was Michael Savage’s pontifications on illegal immigration that did me in.

So what did my journey of enlightenment reveal?

We’re DOOMED!!!

The US of A is gonna collapse financially, Obamama’s gonna rule forever in the.new Islamic States of Mexico & all the honkies are gonna die in 2012 because an asteroid is gonna hit California & cause earth quakes volcanos & tsunamis…

That’s if we don’t all fry from the drought conditions or drown by melting icebergs caused by Global Warming!

Wish now I had never gotten my radioantena fixed, that way I never would’ve known how bad a shape I was in!
